Columns
Section titled “Columns”The view contains 11 columns providing comprehensive information:
| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
folder_id | Primary key of the folder. Anchor customer relationships on this, not on the path, because a folder can be renamed or moved. |
parent_folder_id | Primary key of the parent folder. Null only for the filesystem root. May reference a folder that is not itself a row in this view. |
folder_name | Folder name, a single path segment. |
folder_path | Full lowercase path of the folder, without a trailing slash. A display and lookup convenience; it changes when the folder or any ancestor is renamed or moved. |
description | Optional descriptive text set on the folder. |
is_system_folder | Y for a folder ADM manages itself, such as /users, /groups and a user home. Your application should not offer to rename or delete these. |
folder_depth | Number of path segments: the filesystem root is 0, /users and /groups are 1, a user or group home is 2. |
created_date | Timestamp the folder was created. |
created_by | User who created the folder. |
updated_date | Timestamp the folder row was last written. Not a change feed for its contents: adding a document to a folder does not move it. |
updated_by | User who last wrote the folder row. |
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Unique by folder_id
- No content counts, so no count can reveal an inaccessible document
